Friden EC-130 (1963)

The first all-transistor desktop calculator with a CRT display. Its 5-inch oscilloscope screen showed four 13-digit registers simultaneously in green phosphor.

Designed by Robert Ragen at Friden Inc. (San Leandro, CA). It used a delay-line memory and displayed numbers as dot patterns on the CRT, refreshed at 60Hz. Price: about $2,200.
