Moiré Patterns

A moiré pattern is an interference pattern created when two grids of lines or dots are overlaid at an angle or when they have slightly different mesh sizes.

The resulting pattern creates wavelike structures and visual artifacts that seem to move and shimmer, especially when the grids are in motion.

Instructions:
• Watch as the grids rotate and create dynamic moiré patterns
• Adjust rotation speed and line spacing
• Click and drag to manually rotate the top grid
• Notice how subtle grid differences create dramatic patterns
