Voter Model

Simple contagion on a grid: each agent randomly adopts a neighbor's opinion. This basic model shows random drift toward consensus through social influence.

How It Works

At each time step, a random agent copies the opinion of a random neighbor. This simple rule leads to:

Random drift: Opinions fluctuate randomly
Eventual consensus: One opinion dominates (in finite systems)
Cluster formation: Spatial regions of agreement emerge
